Two units of National Service Scheme are functioning in the college. The scheme provides opportunities for the students to participate in the process of national reconstruction and individual character formation. Social, educational, cultural and health awareness programmes are organized as a part of its regular activities to promote the leadership qualities and organisational skills. Annual campus are also conducted with special project in rural areas. Members of NSS are awarded grace marks for admission to higher classes.

മട്ടന്നൂർ: പഴശ്ശിരാജ എൻ എസ് എസ് കോളേജ് എൻ.സി.സി, എൻ.എസ്.എസ് യൂണിറ്റുകൾ, ഇൻ്റേണൽ കാളിറ്റി അഷുറൻസ് സെൽ എന്നിവയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ ശുചിത്വ ക്യാമ്പയിൻ നടത്തി. കോളേജ് ഗേറ്റ് മുതൽ ഇരിക്കൂർ റോഡിലെ കിൻഫ്ര പാർക്ക് വരെ ഉള്ള റോഡിൻ്റെ അരിക് വശം വൃത്തിയാക്കി പൂന്തോട്ടം ഒരുക്കാനാണ് ശ്രമം നടത്തിയത്. നഗരസഭ അധ്യക്ഷൻ എൻ. ഷാജിത്ത് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ പ്രൊഫ. ഡോ. ആർ. രാജേഷ് അധ്യക്ഷനായി. കൗൺസിലർമാരായ മുഹമ്മദ്, പ്രശാന്ത്, ഡോ ആർ. കെ. ബിജു, ഡോ. പി.വി. സുമിത്ത്, ഡോ. ജെസീക്ക സുധീർ, ഡോ. പി.വി. അനിൽ, കെ. അഞ്ജലി എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു
