The Department of Hindi of this college established in the year 1966. Since 1964 the department has been providing second language courses. The department is having 2 permanent teachers and three Guest faculties.. A departmental library is functioning with more than 1000 books other than the central library. Department offers UG Hindi course as well as second language to other department students. Core and complimentary courses offered as per Kannur University guidelines. Along with the regular classes we are offering DTP Training, Translation and spoken Hindi training to our students and other needy people of the society. As part of the outreach program we are rendering our service to teach computer literacy program to the 10 th equivalent people of Kerala Saksharata Mission.Also trying to teach hindi to inmates of Sachidananda Bala Mandiram.As part of Hindi day Celebrations,for promoting Hindi Language and Literature we rendered our service to nearby schools and International Airport.
