Department of chemistry was established in the year 1967 as an under graduate department. The department has well qualified, experienced and hard working permanent faculty members. The department got upgraded as the recognized research center under Kannur University in the year 2007. Two PhDs have been successfully completed and awarded from this centre under the guidance of Dr.K.Pradeep Kumar. We have successfully completed a number of Minor Research Projects and have guided more than 25 M.Sc projects. We offer three open courses, Chemistry in service to man, Nano materials and Environmental Studies.
