Profile

The department was established in the year 1964. Since then the department is offering Malayalam as second language to the degree students. A certificate course in Classical Dance Forms:Theory and Performance is also offered by the same department. Literery club has been functioning in the department since 2005.

Objectives

• The course is designed to inspire the students to enrich their mother tongue.
• The course intends to provide an insight to the indigenous art and culture.
